Beef Ribs |
 |
My Beef Rib recipe can be prepared two ways. First, I use a Rib Rub like Carolina Dirt BBQ Rub and put them on the smoker for 1 - 2 hours. This starts a crust around the outside and infuses the smoke flavor. You can skip this step and cook them start to finish in the crockpot. Either way you will get very moist, flavorable, fall-off-the-bone ribs.

Ingredients
Ribs approx weight 2 1/2 lbs
1 18-ounce bottle of BBQ sauce of your choice, reserve 1/2 cup
1 onion chopped or quartered
10-12 ounces Coca Cola
Instructions
Use your favorite Rub. Let rest. Put Ribs on the smoker for 1-2 hours (You can skip this step)
Place ribs in the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour BBQ sauce over (reserve about 1/2 cup).
Pour coke over.
Toss in the onion.
Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
Serve with reserved bbq sauce for dipping or topping.
Note: As long as your ribs will easily fit in this slow cooker, the number of other ingredients are the same.
